About Us

Pai Sanctuary Springs was born from a lifelong devotion to myth, healing, and the quiet wisdom of nature. Set within a lush tropical valley in northern Thailand, this sacred land has been lovingly tended into a sanctuary, a space of deep beauty and soul.

Created as a living prayer, this space invites those who seek stillness, reflection, and a deeper connection with life. In a world overwhelmed by noise and speed, Pai Sanctuary Springs offers the chance to pause, to breathe, and to return to what truly matters.

Rooted in both Eastern and Western wisdom traditions, our vision is to offer sacred space for healing and inspiration — a place where the spirit of the land speaks through ancient banyan trees, birdsong at dawn, and mosaic paths winding through flowering tropical gardens.

We are honoured to share this space with those who feel called.

For many years, I’ve followed a path through the healing arts, developing my own style of massage that blends East and West: meridian acupressure, yogic flow, deep tissue therapy, and body-centred awareness. My treatments are intuitive, restorative, and shaped by years of experience working with both local and international guests.

Travel has been a great teacher in my life. I’ve been blessed to visit sacred places in India, Bali, Nepal, Angkor, and Egypt, with each trip deepening my connection to spirit and expanding my understanding of healing.

Over the past sixteen years, I’ve welcomed many friends, travellers, and seekers into my home. It brings me joy to create a space where people can slow down, feel safe, and reconnect with the quiet beauty of life.

I invite you to share in the magic of this sacred garden. A home shaped by love, cleansed by hot spring waters, and surrounded by nature’s healing rhythm.

David

I’ve spent much of my life exploring the deep waters of the soul through mythology, depth psychology, and sacred traditions that span cultures and time. Now retired, my work has drawn on over forty years of immersion in archetypal astrology, Jungian psychology, and the Hermetic arts of Qabbala, Tarot, and Alchemy — all of which continue to shape my path. As a certified Hakomi therapist, I also integrate body-centred psychotherapy with mindfulness, a practice that grounds how I hold space and connect with others.

I was blessed in my early years to study directly with some extraordinary teachers – Joseph Campbell, Stanislav Grof, Terrence McKenna, and Timothy Leary — all of whom shaped my understanding of the human journey, the symbolic life, and the healing power of altered states and mythic imagination.

For the past twenty-five years, my wife Nok and I have lived and created a sanctuary of soul together here at Pai Sanctuary Springs. This sacred land has become the living expression of a lifelong devotion to healing, myth, beauty, and transformation.

I’m honoured to share this space with those who feel called.
